Vive la France is a celebration of all things French, by Merrick Angle, a British illustrator and designer who accidentally ended up in rural France. Inspired by the amazing ephemera he saw in his forgotten corner of France, he set out to make a quirky series of prints to bring a touch of this magic to the world. Drawing on a 100 years of ephemera, Merrick weaves together various elements to make 'scuzzy pop art' that references classroom wall charts, 50's science experiments, language textbooks, and children's books. Fine art prints set within an iced white bevel cut mount and framed with a flat shaped matt black wooden frame.
