About: Brian Elwell’s colourful and imaginative paintings are the result of many years of searching to find an original and sustainable personal vision. A vision that will intrigue the viewer by virtue of the juxtaposition of surprising images, at once strange and yet familiar. The "Personages" series of paintings "resulted from studies made of my own head reflected in shop windows. I felt as though they said something about my connectedness to the city - me as a part of it, and it as a part of me". The work stimulates questions of identity in todays society.

Medium: Printed onto a high quality canvas and stretched over a chunky box frame.

Artist Info:  Brian is a professional painter working in Bath.  He is a member of Bath Art Society and is qualified with a Diploma in Fine Art, MA in Fine Art and Postgraduate Diploma in Printmaking. He is a member of Bath Art Society and offers mentoring for artists, students and amateur painters. He is also Director of Riverside Studios at Swineford near Bath.

With over 40 years experience, his work continues to be exhibited throughout the UK in solo and joint shows, including  St Pauls Cathedral (London), Fusin Gallery (Bath), Paragon Gallery (Cheltenham), Imagination Gallery (Bath), Mariners Chapel (St. Ives), Denise Yapp Gallery (Wales), Limner Gallery (New York City), R.O.I. Mall Galleries (London), Fusion Gallery (Bristol), Webbs Fine Art (London), Throgmortons Gallery (London), Leith Gallery (Edinburgh), Drury Lane Gallery (London).

Canvas Prints

Our enduringly popular fine art canvas prints transform any image into a beautiful work of art.

Each image is printed using a 12 colour giclée fine art printing process onto a luxurious 400gsm artist-grade cotton canvas material. The printed canvas is then carefully hand stretched over a chunky 38mm deep stretcher bar frame milled from the finest quality kiln dried knotless pine sourced from sustainable European forests.

Lead-time 7-10 days

All of our canvas prints are made to order from our workshop in the UK with a typical lead-time of 7-10 working days. Please contact us if you are in a rush or need it by a particular date and we will try our best to meet your needs.

Easy to install

The printed canvas frames come ready to hang with a pack of hooks to fit onto the back of the canvas frame. Being much lighter than a traditional framed print with glass, the canvas frame can be easily hung on your wall using normal picture hanging hooks and pins.

Delivery and returns

Delivery to UK Mainland is £9.90 for a single stretched canvas frame. Please contact us for a quote for international delivery.

We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect - see our full returns policy.

Volume discounts

We offer volume discounts to offices and businesses wanting to purchase 5 or more canvas prints. A fitting service is also available for offices based in London and the South East.
