About: A stylish series of abstract paintings using softened blends of colour. The paintings have a fascinating texture, layering acrylic and oil paints, and then infusing gold and copper-leaf and other diverse pieces such as leather, plastic and wax to create detailed and inspired work. By artist Shelley Corbett, she exhibits her abstract art at galleries in the UK including Paris-Art Gallery (Leigh-on-sea), Good Taste Gallery (Liverpool), Artery Art Gallery (Crieff Scotland) and Islington Art & Design Fair (London).
