Our clients office is located on Bedford Square in Bloomsbury, which is considered one of the best preserved set of Georgian architecture in London. Like most of the original Georgian Townhouses on the square, the building has now been converted into premium offices. Set over five storeys, this outstanding and historic building has been sympathetically renovated to an exceptional standard throughout and retaining period features.
Our brief was to provide elegant artwork that was in keeping with the period features of the office, whilst also having a contemporary feel to compliment the brand of our customer who provide an innovative technology software platform for investment management. The office artwork also needed to contrast against the muted grey walls of the period property.
Working with the office manager, our solution was to provide and install a set of pieces from our "Emotive" collection, a limited edition series of abstract artwork created by painter Amanda Heath.
Our partner artist Amanda said "I’m fascinated by colour; intrigued by how a simple line or form can elude to a feeling; and how drips, pours, washes and bleeds made with the paint can evoke different emotional responses. My work seeks to find a balance between loose expression and technical rigour."
Limited to an edition run of 99, each image in this "Emotive" collection is printed using a 12 colour giclée fine art printing process onto a luxurious 410gsm Hahnemühle Monet cotton canvas material. The printed canvas is then carefully hand stretched over a chunky 38mm deep stretcher bar frame milled from the finest quality kiln dried knotless pine sourced from sustainable European forests. It is then finished with a stylish black wooden float frame to create a special work of art.
