Lorna has developed her unique style as a bold colourist using abstract compositions.

Great attention is paid to the quality of the painting surfaces - the repeated application and removal of many layers of paint result in the history of the work being visible, as all the changes in composition and colour are unapologetically shown. Textural surfaces are juxtaposed with smooth planes and glazes on each canvas.

Since graduating in 1992, Lorna has continued to exhibit and sell her work widely through galleries such as The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Sothebys, Peter Harpley Fine Art and Thomas Corman Arts.

Her work is represented in numerous private, public and corporate collections such as Insite Development Plc, Powermark Plc, Addenbrooke Hospital Cambridge and the law firm Herbert Smith. Her paintings have also been used on the cover of a number of publications.
