A contemporary series of original abstract paintings using earthy natural colours- like sandstone, cream, nut and autumn leaves.
Textures are first applied to the "chunky" box canvas before pigments are slowly absorbed into the surface. The surface colours then become softer on the eye creating a greater warmth and depth to them. Finally, metallic lines and leaf are used to compliment and arrange the abstract composition.
The "Stone Glasses" ranges of painting are finished with small and subtle pieces of coloured glass, each individually created by a skilled glass blower.
