A stunning series of strong expressive landscapes, originating from the rugged coastline of the West Coast of Scotland with its isolated cottages and wild colours.
A sense of place is important in her work although she does not seek to capture a scene with complete accuracy. Sometimes it is the elements and the untamed force of nature that inspire her, but more than anything it is the essential quality of light which can be in the Scottish land and seascape.
